About Ananda Mama Midwifery
Ananda is an ancient word that means bliss in Sanskrit. It is my goal that your birth be an experience you would describe as blissful! I am the founder of Ananda Mama Midwifery, which was established in January 2020. My name is Kaleen Foster LM, CPM, and I am a midwife who provides holistic and evidence based Well Woman, Prenatal, and Postpartum care, and breastfeeding support. I do homebirths all over the Inland Empire. I live in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains, and have an office located in Redlands.
It is our job as midwives to help women reclaim their births, and provide autonomous decision making regarding all aspects of their care! Informed consent is at the core and foundation of the midwifery model of care!
